"Using It Reliably for Years!"

Pros: Works all the time. Helpful support if you have an issue (I had one using it from a hotel and they got me connected).

Cons: None. Works as advertised. Good performance.

Summary: Try the others, then once you're done wasting 4 hours, try this one. Which is what I did when first looking for an encryption/privacy solution to allow access to eBay where I was. Or skip the waste of time and try this one first.

Pros: This software is so easy to use and unlike alot of other programs out there it actually works!

Pros: Circumvents blocked websites, hides your IP address, can be used to circumvent sites that limit uses. Support, fast browsing, even with streaming video, and lower cost than competitors.

Cons: A little slow to connect and disconnect; required a patch for 64-bit Vista.

Summary: Ok, first, 5.99 a month is cheaper than any other similar service I saw out there. Second, it works and it works well. I was able to access sites that were blocked and hide my IP I was able to view streaming video at not very much less speed than without the service running.

I think the most surprising positive was the support. They were FAST, often less than 2 hours to respond to an email request. The responses were also as if they actually read my email and wrote me an email in response, not just copied and pasted a canned answer that isn't even pertinent to my problem.

"One of the Few That Actually Works!"

Pros: Speed for very good for a VPN service. Reliable, works from anywhere and is always available. Support is responsive.

Cons: Updating billing information takes a bit to verify. My card didn't go through once (ok, my fault) and after updating, it took half a day to get the account re-established. Should be faster.

Summary: I've been with these guys for years. This new version is faster than the previous version, which was fast. It's clear that the company cares about providing the service since I've never had a problem getting an answer from them for any question.

I saw one reviewer complaining about the credit card (or Paypal) for the trial. It is likely just there to prevent kids from signing up, as a kid can't pay, since they treated me fine during the free trial and made it easy to cancel if I needed to. The 'free' services out there aren't worth the time (I've tried them... good luck connecting when you need to).

"Far Better Than Those So-Called 'Free' Solutions!"

Pros: Runs smoking fast. Really easy to use and install.

Cons: It's $5.99 a month [after the trial] but you really get what you pay for!

Summary: I looked at other solutions out there, particularly ones were so-called "Free" or that didn't require you to enter a valid credit card in order to try out the program. You know what though? Most other programs, at least the ones I looked at, simply don't work. Even worse, many of them were made by foreign companies that seem a little shady at best. I don't know about you, but if I'm going to buy software for security, I want it to be made here in the good old USA.
